You all know me by now, I love to look back in time. Especially around the early 2000’s as those were some awesome years in the Biker Rally days. Back then, this “photography idea” was kind of still a fun hobby, and my cameras reflected that. For those that don’t know, I started my site, BIKERPICS.ORG, in 1999 because I wasn’t happy with the print magazines and how slow they were to publish images, not to mention only seeing a handful of pics at best. So, I started BIKERPICS.ORG, which changed everything. It wasn’t a blog or a news site, it was picture galleries only, and the hits went from a silly number of 10 daily, to 130,000 within the first few months. Back then there wasn’t any social media, so it was my site & Bikernet, that was all I can remember. Now, our yearly views exceed 22 million and growing.
Since those days, we’ve lost so many great people, some visible in the images above, and new and inspiring faces have stepped forward. With Daytona Bikeweek just around the corner, we (our team) look forward to bringing you all even more great coverage because frankly, we can’t stop ourselves…
