Looking at this final Sunday evening image on Main Street, you’d never believe that only 12 hours earlier, there wasn’t a single parking spot available. The crowds were HUGE this year, which was a very welcomed sight to see.
Over the next week, we will be uploading TONS of images, so please stay tuned. Thank you.
I’ve been in Daytona for a few days now, and judging by the road traffic, it’s looking like the days of old. Many more images to come by both myself & Chopper Dave. Stay tuned. Lots of entertainment to come. 2 choices to select from, My Daytona galleries and Chopper Dave. ENJOY it all.
Images by Photographer Polina Krasnova from Russia.
You’ve probably seen me brag about this Photographer in the past, but I feel proud to not only have Chopper Dave shooting constantly & sharing his great fun work, but also to have Polina Krasnove, creator of Bikers Insider (as she wears proudly on her arm).
Ya’ll know Chopper Dave by now, I mean it’s been decades that he’s been shooting for everyone. Visit his very own page (linked from front page, look to your left), but this gallery is very recent, the 2020 Rats Hole Bike Show, Daytona Bikeweek 2020. CLICK HERE
One of my favorites, year after year, the Perewitz Paint Show. The imagination of the contestants baffle me sometimes, but CLICK HERE to check out this gallery, and scroll through the Daytona & Sturgis galleries to see other past Perewitz Paint Shows.
I always love shooting at the Broken Spoke in Daytona. They produce the best bike shows daily, then the venue magically comes to life in the evening hours with killer musical groups and tree lighting that excites your sensors. CLICK HERE TO SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.
Best explained by this, Sons of Speed, created by Billy Lane of Choppers Inc, is a motorcycle race inspired by early 20th-century board-track racing. Open to the public, races occur regularly at Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
We all just attended Arlen Fatland’s 50th anniversary party at what is now Billy Lane’s home for Choppers Inc on Main Street in Daytona with Rod Woodruff, Jack & Lynn Deagazio, Toni Woodruff, Marilyn Stemp, Jeff Zielinski, Cory Ness, Christine LePera, john marcella, Jody Perewitz, Zach Ness, Dave Perewitz, Timothy Remus, Billy Lane, Erin Lane, and many more. I wanted to share all of these images because it was a gathering of some of the industries most wonderful people. I spoke with Billy Lane & his wife Erin for a while over a few days time regarding the shop being purchased from Arlen, and it’s future. I will keep tabs with Billy on this project so that I don’t report incorrect news, but the idea is to make it a cool lounge more or less, highlighting future builders while honoring the past, so with that said, I will sit back and await the shops future & in October, I will do another shoot there & show you how Billy & Erin’s goal has moved forward.
