If you are one that loves Daytona Bikeweek or Biketoberfest, then chances are you have seen this killer custom build. Built by Warren Lane, Ray first introduced this bike to me at the Rats Hole Custom Bike Show in March of 2013 (Daytona Bikeweek).
As can be seen in several magazines, The Horse, Easyriders, and Iron Works Magazine (my favorite), along with countless blogs (MINE…), this bike continues to turn heads and it’s still Ray’s weekly ride in 2024. On this fine Wednesday evening, Ray reminded me that the frame was from a bike his father-in-law owned since 1967, which Ray purchased from him, and then Warren Lane built the motor & the rest of the bike, on that frame.
