I always love shooting at the Broken Spoke in Daytona. They produce the best bike shows daily, then the venue magically comes to life in the evening hours with killer musical groups and tree lighting that excites your sensors. CLICK HERE TO SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.
Best explained by this, Sons of Speed, created by Billy Lane of Choppers Inc, is a motorcycle race inspired by early 20th-century board-track racing. Open to the public, races occur regularly at Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest and Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
We all just attended Arlen Fatland’s 50th anniversary party at what is now Billy Lane’s home for Choppers Inc on Main Street in Daytona with Rod Woodruff, Jack & Lynn Deagazio, Toni Woodruff, Marilyn Stemp, Jeff Zielinski, Cory Ness, Christine LePera, john marcella, Jody Perewitz, Zach Ness, Dave Perewitz, Timothy Remus, Billy Lane, Erin Lane, and many more. I wanted to share all of these images because it was a gathering of some of the industries most wonderful people. I spoke with Billy Lane & his wife Erin for a while over a few days time regarding the shop being purchased from Arlen, and it’s future. I will keep tabs with Billy on this project so that I don’t report incorrect news, but the idea is to make it a cool lounge more or less, highlighting future builders while honoring the past, so with that said, I will sit back and await the shops future & in October, I will do another shoot there & show you how Billy & Erin’s goal has moved forward. Follow this link to see ALL OF THE ACTION from Daytona Bikeweek 2020, images by Chopper Dave. And that’s not the end of it, we still have hundreds of images to finish editing, so as always, stay tuned.
Both myself (Jack McIntyre) and Chopper Dave busted our asses in Daytona during Bikeweek 2020 to get you all TONS of images. We’ve been uploading since last week, just about every image is now posted, but there are some last galleries still to load. Please enjoy our images, we’ve been doing this for decades, not for the money (it’s all free), we do it for you.
As with all of Chopper Dave’s photo work, the Gibstown Bikefest is no different. Attention to the detail of the event. I mean that’s what it is all about. The ability to cover an event so well, that you feel like you were there.
Now for something completely different, the 2020 Verona Italy Motor Bike Expo. Made possible by IRON TRADER NEWS, Marilyn Stemp & I hit the expo running. It was the largest trade show I have ever seen, anywhere. Check out the image and visit IRON TRADER NEWS for more info on this event, and motorcycle industry news and stories as well.
