This crazy cool chopper was a shoot I did earlier this year for Traditional Chopper Magazine, and was the September cover of the magazine. I encourage you all to subscribe to their mag, the quality is awesome. Anyway, I just wanted to get the pics up of this chopper for you all to see.

Larry always loved choppers as a kid. This was his first bike & build, he’s a custom car guy, but 7 years ago he decided to build a period correct 70’s chopper, so he bought a 51 FL that had a shovel head and went on a search for the proper period correct parts. After being tutored by Nick at Nick’s Custom Cycles in New Jersey, the project was underway. He used a couple of Led Sled Invader wheels and the pipes, sissy bar, seat, and the forward controls were all made in Larry’s shop. The beautiful Girder front end was made by Bill Holland at Executive Choppers in Roseville, CA. The King is 40 over with a 60 degree rake and is 11.5 ft. long.
