Some people dream about building a motorcycle museum. Others actually roll up their sleeves, grab a hammer, and make it happen.
That’s exactly what House of Choppers Nation photographer Chopper Dave is doing in St. Cloud, Florida, where he’s personally building a 24-foot by 40-foot motorcycle museum completely from scratch. What began as an idea has quickly become a passion project that will celebrate the motorcycles, people, and memories that have shaped the American biker lifestyle.
The museum will feature a collection of Dave’s own motorcycles alongside donated motorcycles that will be proudly displayed for the public to enjoy. Every bike has a story, and this museum is being created to preserve those stories for future generations of riders and enthusiasts.
One of the biggest attractions will literally be above everyone’s heads. Suspended from the ceiling will be Dave’s original custom chopper, a motorcycle that has become one of the most photographed choppers in the country after appearing in countless event photos, magazine features, and motorcycle gatherings over the years.
The walls will be lined with incredible motorcycle artwork along with more than 200 photographs from Dave’s model and motorcycle photo shoots spanning many years of traveling the country covering rallies, bike shows, custom builders, and the people who make the motorcycle community so special.
This isn’t being built as a business venture, it’s being built as a place where motorcycle history can be shared, appreciated, and preserved. Whether you’re into vintage Harleys, custom choppers, motorcycle photography, or simply the culture that surrounds two wheels, this museum promises to become a unique destination for visitors throughout Central Florida.
House of Choppers Nation will continue following the construction from the ground up, sharing progress updates, behind-the-scenes photos, and new additions as the museum takes shape.
Dave is also asking for help from the motorcycle community. Donations of motorcycle memorabilia, signs, vintage collectibles, and especially picture frames are greatly appreciated and will help bring this vision to life. If you’ve got something sitting in your garage or workshop that deserves to be seen and enjoyed, consider donating it to the museum.
