The 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally 2024: A Spectacular Gathering of Friends and So Much More.

Post & Images by Jack McIntyre

STURGIS, what is it all about? Bike shows, concerts, great riding, stunning scenery…? Yes, but it’s also the yearly gathering of friends that you get one chance to see outside of social media comments. This year I can not attend due to family commitments, but damn does it hurt. With all of that said, I will be watching from afar, collecting images off social media, posting everything I can & sharing it with everyone. I have dozens of great photographer friends carrying the best cameras down to iPhones, every image tells a story so I will do just that, build stories based on what I can collect.

In this post, I’ll look back at the Sturgis Rally from 2021 and what a Rally it was. I was manning my normal post as a Photographer for the Buffalo Chip, handling event after event, all day, all night. From the very first day, the Chip brought in an awesome group of 4-wheelers to the amphitheater. Below are a few examples, but it was something that I hadn’t seen in the past & the sounds & sights were off the charts.

The man himself, Mr. Rod “Woody” Woodruff. King of the Buffalo Chip!

So, here we go. Images that I took from verities of events, the Chopper Show, Flying Piston Benefit, back stage, on stage, the Legends Ride, and on & on. Enjoy!

Don’t miss these two events, they are simply terrific.

Last, we had an amazing Wrap up Party at the Chip on just about the last night. Hopefully these images can paint a picture.

Thanks for stopping by. Stay Tuned as the Rally is almost ready to begin. LOTS OF UPDATES to come on this site, and our others, Iron Trader News & on our Facebook page, CHOPPER SHOW.
