Here’s a glimpse back at the 2009 Legends Ride in Deadwood, South Dakota—an exhilarating charity motorcycle event that kicks off the Sturgis Rally in style. Beginning on the iconic cobblestone streets of Deadwood’s Historic Main Street, riders and celebrities unite for a scenic journey through the Black Hills, ending at the legendary Buffalo Chip. Along the way, participants enjoy a lively custom motorcycle auction, exclusive reception, and memorable camaraderie—with proceeds benefiting causes like the Black Hills Special Olympics and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame. Since its inception in 2008, the event has raised well over $2.8 million for charity, making it a beloved tradition that blends community spirit, star power, and spectacular rides. Enjoy my images, I was carrying two cameras & shooting while riding, so the pics are what they are…

While we are looking at Deadwood, stop my to see my friends at Sick Boy Motorcycles.
