LOOKING BACK AT THE 2021 VETERANS CEREMONY AT THE BUFFALO CHIP

Post & Images by Jack McIntyre

Where would we be without our Veterans? What language would we be possibly speaking at this point? Our Veterans are what allow us to do what we want to do, without worry, and unfortunately our Veterans are most times treated like second hand citizens. I was in the Marine Corps from 1982 through 1992. I went through 3 years of terrible communication with the VA and Military records folks just trying to obtain my discharge (DD214). Once received, it took another year just to have my hearing checked at the VA. That was my experience with a bad system, but I know that is nothing compared to others. So, when I shoot at the Buffalo Chip during the rallies, I make sure that I am up on stage for the Veterans Ceremony because again, these are the guys that allow us to do what we do, and they deserve more than they are offered.

I did this post today just to share the images of the ceremony. I hope that you enjoy them and share with your friends. These men gave up everything, and I for one appreciate all that they did, and all that my stay in the military did for my family.
